Elessa Doege-Kittleman
Elessa has been with SRAH since 2018. Starting out as Head of Surgery, Elessa was promoted to Practice Manager in July of 2023. Her love for animals supersedes her time in vet med. Animals have always been her first true love. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gaming, and being with her 3 dogs and 3 cats.
Matresa Peterson
Matresa has been with SRAH since March of 2023. Previous to joining our crew, she worked at the Humane Society of Wicomico County for 14 years. Her love for animals started as a child when she would bring strays home, despite her parents telling her not to. Matresa loves getting to meet all of the patients and building a personal relationship with their owners. In her spare time, Matresa likes hanging out with friends, sports, Nascar, but of course her favorite thing to do is to hang out with her 4 dogs, and cats.
Addison Mariner
Addie has been a CSR with SRAH since July of 2023. Helping pets and their parents when they need it most is incredibly rewarding to her. Addie loves that her day to day is constantly evolving, therefore she is constantly learning. In her time away from work Addie enjoys going to the beach, cooking, spending time with her family and fur baby, Dixie!
Diamond Nimmons
Diamond is a recent graduate from UMES, whose goal is to become a veterinarian in the future. Diamond loves both the color green and potato chips. In her spare time, Diamond enjoys watching Anime, talking with her friends, and scrolling through TikTok. If you see her around the hospital, be sure to say “hello”, she will greet you with a very warm welcome.
Amber Cruz
Amber started working for SRAH in 2020 as a CSR, then was promoted to Practice Manager in July of 2023. Prior to starting her career at Somerset, she worked for the Humane Society and a local animal hospital in Berlin, MD, which is where she learned just how much she loved the medical side of animal care. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, hosting game nights, and reading. Amber lives with her husband, 2 perfect puppies named King and Waverly and her tailless cat, Mavis.
Aleis Stevens
Aleis is one of the newest members to join our team. She started in November of 2023 but this is not where her experience began. Aleis has been in veterinary medicine for 8 years. She has worked in local shelters, general practices, the local ER, specialty and even some time in human medicine (not to worry, she will not be working on the human side ever again). She has a frenchie named Potato, who is the apple of her eye. If you do not see her running around with Dr. Reynolds during appointments, you will find her at a concert or snuggled up on the couch with her pup.
Bethany Dewey
Bethany joined the SRAH team in August of 2022. Shortly after being hired, Bethany obtained her associates in veterinary Technology And became a Registered Veterinary Technician. While small dogs are her favorite she loves to see all of the wonderful patients that come in for a visit. In her spare time Bethany enjoys reading and crocheting as well as spending time with her family.
Haley Kirby
Haley is a dedicated Vet Tech who has been with SRAH since 2018. Haley has a strong love for cats that has driven her to enhance her expertise and is excited to soon earn her certificate in feline behavior and training. Outside of working with animals, she enjoys nurturing her garden and caring for her houseplants, this brings her both joy and tranquility. Haley also enjoys spending time outdoors to connect with nature and travelling, allowing her to explore new environments.
Angela Geohan
Angela started working at SRAH as a vet assistant in March of 2024. Angela received her Vet Assistant Certificate from WOR-WIC and is currently planning on getting her associates and bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine. In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading, writing, and designing but most of all she loves horses.
